Telkom Speed upgrades

Ok im still waiting for my 4meg upgrade .I have a Mega100WR I hope it will handle the upgrade (last time I phoned to up to 2 megs was told to get rid of my Router and vista )
when I stop paying 4 my sons Braces Ja:)

Just spoke to DSL Support and was helped by an extremely helpful lady (Vineshni(sp?) - thanks!!) - Apparently I'm already on the 4MB profile, she confirmed again and then also did a port reset.

Will reboot the router tonight and see if I connect at 4MB. If I still can't connect at 4MB I need to log a call and have a technician come out and investigate.

I don't understand the problem though, I was running on 4MB earlier this year before I downgraded; Nothing has changed on my side. Must be a mess-up on Telkom's side.

Seems over the contention ratio for 4 meg yet the router is only on 4 and use to be always 430 kb/s or lower.

Been upgraded from 1Mbps to 2Mbps.

Router still says downstream rate is 1024kbps. Gonna try a resetting the router.
 
On 2Mbps in Milnerton Cape Town! :D

My router is still syncing at 1Mbps though...

How do I get my router to sync at 2Mbps? It's still syncing at 1Mbps - restarting it didn't help...
 
I live Durban South
ADSL Checker shows current service speed 2Mbps still on 1meg
Think I have to join the queue for a profile and port update

The original headline I saw on the Telkom speed updates was for the low end upgrades 25th of November recent posts appear to bare this out. My reckoning is that across all the speeds, they will all be sorted out by January.
