Port reset won't do anything. You have to ask for a profile reset or migration to the new profile.I got upgraded to 2meg but still syncing at 1meg even after a port reset.
I have been checking the adsl speed checker regularly the whole week and I am also suddenly on 2Mbps. My line is also still syncing at 1Mbps.
Maybe we should first verify that there is someone who is still on 1Mbps on the speed checker before we all start celebrating
I think you're right I just checked my afrihost checker and in the on place it says I am 2Mbps but when I test/tweak my line it says 1Mbps.There are people in this thread stating they are also syncing at 2Mbps. Therefore I assume Telkom has performed the first step for all in moving over to 2Mbps. Now it is just a matter of a profile/port reset.
If you syncing lower than your upgraded line speed I think your ISP is holding you back with the data package you on, unless you with Telkom.

Why would the ISP package affect the sync rate?If you syncing lower than your upgraded line speed I think your ISP is holding you back with the data package you on, unless you with Telkom.
Well, TelkomZA did say that early to mid-December they're upgrading 2mb customers to 4mb and Jan/Feb they're upgrading 1MB customers.
