I tried that but it takes me really far from where I am, Hoping its the one down the road from me because I see they are installing VDSL exchange.

I'm on 1mb waiting for 2mb upgrade, I just did a ADSL Checker and this the results below:

Maximum speed available in your area 1 Mbps
Your Current Service speed 2 Mbps

Just up the road at work we on 4mb. What is that maximum speed all about?

Check on the ADSL checker, if your line speed shows 2Mbps but your router still syncs at 1Mpbs, you've been upgraded but need to phone 10210 and ask for a port/profile reset. I held on for 36 minutes on Saturday to get through

Can someone who has TelkomInternet as their ISP answer a question. Once you've upgraded the line, is the data/ISP side automatically bumped up as well.
