Telkom Speed Upgrades

Please report here if you've received a free speed upgrade. From 2Mb to 4Mb, 4Mb to 8Mb/10Mb and 8Mb to 10Mb.

Upgrades should kick in from tomorrow. Also indicate if you received a free upgrade despite being on their promo package.

Package remained the same as normal " 4MB Home Uncapped"
No line upgrade from 4MB to 8/10MB.
Talk about being disappointed, but I guess it's Telkom, can't really expect much lol.
 
Also not upgraded. Do we have to phone Telkom and ask for a port reset?
 
Probably they'll upgrade everyone as the day progresses. If anyone is able to, please call telkom when they open and inquire.

While chatting to 10210 support, the guy said that that people will receive an sms informing of upgrade and that everyone on 2 & 4 Mb/s lines will be upgraded over the next few months, so it's all a matter of wait & see.
 
It definitely wasn't going to be like magic everyone wakes up the 1st of September with double their line speed.

No upgrade, I guess I was hoping for this kind of service, have to remind myself where I am I guess.

I've never had the upgrade from Telkom, I've always somehow managed to upgrade myself to a faster line and when upgrades happen that speed doesn't get upgraded.
 
How accurate is the online Telkom coverage checker? My address is showing a maximum speed of 4 Mbps, but the houses all around me shows 10/20 Mbps?
 
The coverage map tells me I can't get 20 mbps vdsl, but I've had it for over a year.

Link - Migration of DSL and Voice Services to the latest Multi Service Access Node.
Does the above mean it's migration and line upgrades to the new HomeUnlimited packages?
If so, I should be getting the upgrade in a few days.

Nope. I got that upgrade on September 6 and September 8. No upgrade. :(
