Seems like this was it. Telkom recently said again they will cut prices, but don't know when or by how much. That was it. They announced it. Bastards!

How did the last price reduction come along? did they just announce it on the last day of the month and say "ok from next month u get to play less"?

And how long before did they announce that they were going to give details on a price reduction?
 
Telkom don't have to fear anything from SNO .... with Eskom involved in SNO we in the Cape all know what that means ... higher prices with crap service .... here comes another Telskum under a SNOw the customers banner

week?????? try 2006 dude. i dont think anything will be announced in 2006 about a reduction, as much as i hope so, i have little faith in Telkom. they wont have a technician available to deliver the press release!

ja its amasing how brilliant their payment system always work? i mean you pay one day late they cut your line within a few seconds, but try getting the line up? takes months!! :confused:
 
My bet is:

Telkom will announce a largish reduction in one of their services or products, as well as an increase in another service / product. The decrease / increase will be touted as being for the benefit of those who make limited use of said product or service.

The nett result of the price change will be an on-average increase in monthly costs, of around 15%

Hey, the way I see it, is I lose the bet I win with reduced prices. If I win the bet, I lose with increased prices. I also hope I lose!

I bet Telkom will scrap the cost for ADSL Line Rentals and make their 3GB accounts 20GB accoutns for R249pm

~R95 for Telkom Line
R249 for ADSL 1MB with 20GB Cap - Unlimited Local.
(Once off charge for line installation at the old Line Rental rates)
