Telkom Uncapped LTE blocking Seedhost? (resolved)

I've been on Telkom Uncapped LTE for about 4 months without issue.
Since this weekend it seems that Telkom is blocking access to my server at Seedhost.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?
If they keep denying me access to my server am I able to get out of the remainder of my contract without penalty?

I'm pretty sure seed boxes are against their fair use policy, so it's inevitable, and its not grounds for getting out of a contract.

I can find no such information in their terms and conditions. As for the Acceptable Usage Policy:
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY:
1. Telkom reserves the right to apply restrictions on an uncapped account if a customer’s behaviour is
determined to be affecting the user experience of other customers on Telkom’s mobile broadband
network. Such restrictions include but are not limited to throttling a customer’s throughput speeds to an
appropriate proportion of the actual port speed and / or shaping a customer’s bandwidth to limit the use
of bandwidth intensive protocols and applications.
2. Examples of customer behaviour which compromise Telkom’s network performance include, for
example, causing network congestion, include running excessive concurrent internet sessions or
accessing excessive bandwidth intensive protocols such as Peer to Peer and news servers protocols
(NNTP). In the event of such behaviours, Telkom reserves the right to terminate the account of a
SmartBroadband Uncapped Wireless customer whose usage is continuously affecting Telkom’s network
performance.
3. In order to assist a customer to be made aware of when his or her behaviour is compromising Telkom’s
mobile broadband network performance, Telkom will provide to the customer such information as is
practically available. Once usage is indicated as being dangerously high, Telkom reserves the right to
suspend the relevant customer’s usage within 24 (twenty four) hours of usage having reached such
levels. Customers who are restricted by Telkom in the aforementioned manner in a calendar month will
be returned to full service profile at the beginning of the next month.
4. The above controls will be implemented by Telkom in addition to those set out elsewhere in this AUP
regarding unlawful behaviour.

How do you think they implemented blocking? DNS, IP or packet filtering?
Find it out.

It seems to be IP filtering.
Any and all requests to that server are timing out.

Ja, that seems like neither throttling nor shaping. That's straight blocking of traffic to an IP

Perhaps Telkom sees the use of a seedbox as an attempt at circumventing the 50Gb torrent/NZB limit.
Is there anything in the terms and conditions that prohibit the use of the service for running a server of any kind?

From their T&C's, you are not allowed to use the connection to host servers and provide services, but that is not what I'm doing.

I had VPN access via my server but that is obviously not working after the block.
I will try a VPN from a different provider to see how that goes.

Any recommendations for a reliable and fast VPN that is not too expensive?

The issue has been escalated to Huawei. I will report back with any findings...

I don't think Telkom is blocking it on purpose. I use justseed.it and I download from them @ 8.3MB/s so they not blocking any traffic.

I'm hopeful. If they can sort it out I would be happy. Otherwise I will have to migrate to a different box.

there is no loyalty in the seedbox community changing a SB company is easy.

I would prefer to stay with my current provider if possible. Would possibly just have them transfer me to another box if push comes to shove.

So the block was not Telkom enforced but rather a router software/hardware issue? Odd....
Escalated to Huawei not for the router on my end but for the Radio Access Network on their end.
The issue has not yet been resolved, so I'm still not 100% convinced its not a block from Telkom's side.
