TelkomInternet "Uncapped" Glitch?

damnit. i am only seeing this now. is the connection still uncapped?
 
Where can I sign up for a Telkom 512kbs 1GB account?
http://www.telkomsa.net is completely helpless and they only seem to be interested in promoting their dobroadband offerings. I dont want that, I want an ADSL 1GB account only service ?
Are there any direct links ?

Has anyone else noticed the % used? Seems like the new increased cap sizes have been implemented and I thought it was only supposed to run from next month onwards?

Mine has always given me the soft cap %.
Example. If I used 3Gb of my 3Gb (4.5Gb softcap) it always said 66.67%
 
According to TI, I'm capped. Yeah Right! :D

Blended Usage
Uploaded - 546MB or [0.53GB]
Downloaded - 20.54GB
Combined Total - 21.08GB
Percentage used - 468.45%
Status - Capped

So it shows you as capped but you are still connected?

Ditto here. The actual email they send out says you've been capped and moved to local, but that's not in fact true.
I'm struggling to decide whether I should download more or not. Don't really want to take the risk of getting a massive bill at the end of the month.

Yeah, that is the question. I know I would be very cautious.
 
I have thought about emailing support and asking them what is going on, but I don't want to spoil the fun for everybody else if they are then going to flip the switch.

There's NO way that they don't know about this already. Besides, [email protected](Whatever the support email addy on their site is) doesn't work for some reason - it just bounces.
 
people we are not uncapped, telkom has just copied the entire interenet into one of their local servers
