They never reply. Rather use twitter. No response from many pms from more than a year ago.
That's sad! Looks like number of complaints on this forum has chased them away.

Also they're more geared to installation queries and resolving line faults than fielding queries on Telkom policy which is what the current uproar is all about.I don't think that's the issue.
My suspicion is that those in the front line have their hearts in the right place, but are constrained by those above them...
Hi All
TelkomZA replied to my pm send on sunday. Sending messages over twitter is problomatic very few words can be send.
You can't send him a tracert route what so ever.
Hi TelkomZA
I have phoned Telkom Support earlier today for a port reset and found out that I have line attenuation and now I would like a Telkom technician to come and rewire my house's old cabling. I would also like to know does it cost anything or is it a free service and who do I call for this service, what should I do to get a tech to come to my home?
My house has very old cabling and I am sure its the problem.

All of the wires are Telkom's property. Only where the wall jack is, from there onwards is it your property. You may ask them to redo the wiring, and it should be free.
Are they responding to PMs?
What on earth is going on with your Queenswood exchange? On local speed tests I am getting latency results of 843 ms! This is unacceptable and not on when one has a 4MB line!
