Please reply to my PM. My line has been out for over a week now and has been escalated to the transmissions team but I think they have lost connection :D. My line was hit by lightning and it seems it made it back to the exchange and i cannot get any modem to synchronise on my line. Please can you have a look at it for me as I need to be able to work from home.

TelkomZA I've been waiting days. I think acknowledgement of receipt is the least you can do.
 
Are there problems with Telkom at the moment? My mweb + web africa accounts dial just fine but when I dial my Telkom account it connects/dials fine and authenticates but there is zero internet access yet if I try WA or Mweb they're just fine.
 
I am trying to pay my account via Credit Card, but I am unable to find my invoices in the Telkom site. It shows my balance outstanding, but when selecting pay with credit card, no invoices appear.

Am I missing something?
 
Today was hopefully my last battle with TelkomZa about line installation, I've had line installation been cancelled according to them for no reason, when I trace the order it shows up as executing, they never pitched for the installation date scheduled on the 27th of March.

I started complaining about this on there Facebook page. Needles to say most people who replied to my messages were pretty much useless and kept telling me that The matter has been escalated and all that and management will contact me. Which still never happened btw Telkom. But this morning after a very rude post on their Facebook wall. I read one of the previous threads about how to deal with this and got the contact number of management for the exchange in my area, tried phoning but his phone was off. That's when I sent Telkom a message again on Facebook asking if this bloke still works there and if not can I please have the new guys number

This morning the rep that chatted to me and actually was of some help name is Gadija. So if you ever deal with Telkom on Facebook hope this person replies you, then your stuff will get sorted within the hour.

Tried accessing invoices today and it came up blank.

You can pay from the Easypay website via Credit Card (using a previous invoice).
 
PLEASE HELP

I have received a SMS and a phone call from TELKOM threatening to suspend my account due to lack of payment. However I have been trying to cancel my old number (which has been billed for services not used as i am not living there anymore) since January.
I am paying for my current number. Every time I speak to someone at Telkom they keep telling my yes it will be and yes I will be credited

On Facebook I was told to email [email protected] with this reference SM96901 and still nothing.

PLEASE HELP AS THEY STATE I HAVE 48 HRS
 
There is not much you can do, maybe try Hello Peter they do respond there most of the times.
 
Load shedding took place and now I can't connect to the net. My router says connected but I still can't. I deleted my account on the router and created it again and it still can't connect. Is there anything I can do?

Telkom account I guess? I'm seeing the same behaviour on my soft cap account.
 
Hey TelkomZA,

I've tried calling a million times, also went into the soon to close Telkom office, even then they could not assist me. I hope you can.

On my bussiness line I pay for CLIP, but it just stopped working on 1 of the 2 lines I have.

Maybe you can assist me in fixing this issue?

I stay in Wierda Park Ext 1 and since Friday 10th April just before 17.00H my adsl line starts disconnecting up until 19.00H between eight and twelve times lasting a few minutes every time. Does this have to do with load shedding as i gave put in a fault report via sms on sunday 12th and nothing has changed?
 
New Microwave dishes installed - Swellendam

In the dorp where I live (Swellendam, WC) is a water reservoir up on a hill above the town. Recently I noticed that what appears to microwave dishes have been installed. Any idea what these could be? See attached image. Previously there was only the topographical beacon on that reservoir.

Our local Telkom exchange only supports up to 4 Mbps, and I get excited :twisted: when any change that could speed-up our local ADSL speeds happen.
