Hi Telkom, Given that Telkom admits (They offer no penalties to be charged on migration from LTE to fibre) to the LTE service, at least in the east of Pretoria, being sub-standard to say the least. Telkom though insists that I pay R800 for a useless LTE router, on migration to fibre, because I took the router out of the box. I have suffered poor LTE streaming performance since I got this expensive service. Now that there is an alternative in the offing, they strike. Asking customers to pay even more for their poor service- to make things worse they instructed me to take it out of the box, unwrap and install it!!!
 
It has been more than a month since I signed up for Telkom's Home Unlimited package... Several tweets and assurances later and I'm still waiting.
 
Missed the android tv box and telkom lit by a week! Pretty unfair in a way. Makes one want to avoid contracts with Telkom

Telkom’s LIT media box can change your TV to a smart-TV, almost like a smart-phone or computer. Then you can watch YouTube videos on your TV, at no extra cost through ADSL, the data is free (zero-rated). You can also watch Netflix and Showmax movies, the data is free, but you pay Netflix and Showmax. The same with DStv, the data cost is zero, but you pay DStv.

The Telkom LIT box costs R1099. If you change to Telkom’s Unlimited home 8/10Mbps ADSL, then you get the media box as a gift, so they say.

Have a smart tv and chromecasts so redundant.

The zero rated data is more the issue. Just shows the "uncapped data" is bull.

Missed the free box by a week. Installed fibre on 13 Sept and this offer from 20 Sept.

Oh, my Telkom customer experience is very memorable. I have never met such disdain from any company that I pay money to. It is MIND BOGGLING how much your company hates their customers.

Wel ek het klaar vandag gevloek, gekreeu, gesoebat en gesmeek en gehuil. Al wat oor bly is lag want somehow kan Telkom nie omgee nie.

Korrek beesboertjie. Syfers boertjie, syfers is net getalle. Gaan kyk bietjie dieper en jy sal die ware Telkom sien. Het KPMG dalk 'n hand hierin gehad.
Soos alreeds gesê een van die bes presterende maatskappye op JSE. Het heelwat van hulle aandele.
Vgl egter met hulle dienslewering en 'n heel ander pentjie kom na vore. Bring vir my die kloutjie by die oor.
Gaan egter nou nie met jou in redenasie betrokke raak nie. Jy het jou siening ek myne.

Facebook ignore hulle my flat.
Call center gee hulle vir my n e-mail adress om alles te stuur. E-mail gestuur. Het so n snot suur sms gekry wat basically gese word hulle gaan my nie help nie. Ek moet maar wag en my losses sluk soos n groot seuntjie.
Niks van PM op MYBB nie.

Ek's al gewoont aan die tiepe diens. Net om my telefoon lyne en pbx te kry het 8 maande gevat. My lieflikke Telkom Account Manager het ek 2 jaar laas mee gepraat want hy antwoord nie sy oproepe nie, reply nie op e-mails nie, antwoord nie smse nie. Ek weet nie eens of die man nog lewe nie.

So ja. Sal maar sien hoe lank vat die nonsens vir hulle om uit te sorteer. Maar sodra ek weg kan kom, is ek weg.

So ja...ek is moedeloos. Die dag was net bruin sleg ruikende goed wat begin met n K. So ek try maar nou net lag. Wat anders kan ek doen?
