Hi guys,

Thanks for the donations so far. The US fee's have been covered.

Due to the donations I've decided to splurge and buy some UK hosting.

I should have UK sites like BBC iPlayer and Netflix UK working by the end of the week.

Do any of you have any input as to what you would like to see in terms of UK content.

People who donated take first preference.

I don't support old devices that are non-SNI. Xbox 360 is an older device and as such doesn't have SNI support.

It's too expensive for me to support non-SNI as I'm still not breaking even (mainly due to the fact that i'm trying to add UK support to thank the people who have donated).

To support non-SNI I'd need probably an extra $300-$400 dollars a year for the IP space required.
 
I'll test this out later on a VDSL router and some devices. Will confirm tomorrow what the outcome was.

is this still working ? tried accessing netflix through my browser (firefox) but get the netflix isn't available in your country message.

it worked the day before that so not sure what went wrong

I just logged in fine. Are you sure you aren't having some caching issue with your browser?
 
Hi jsheed_sa

As far the chromecast goes, using my chrome browser to stream netflix is working and I can view netflix on my android tablet. But using my android tablet to cast netflix to the chromecast is not working??

any ideas?

Had issues with Netflix on the PS3 as well this morning. Worked on the pc (although very slowly)

PS3 test said that server 1 was the one failing
 
Netflix login works, but runs slowly on PC and buffers regularly. Was able to watch on the phone comfortably, strangely enough.

Hulu runs perfectly

Hi J

I fail to coannect to the very first server 100% of the times when I tried yesterday. It connects to the others though.

The error it threw was nw-2-5
 
Nevermind! Must have been a temporary issue but it definitely wasn't working yesterday for me as I wanted to watch a movie.

So Netflix is working 100% now, just Hulu now, but I suspect thats something on my side as it hasn't been working for the last 2 weeks. It does however work via my PC. Will fiddle with it a bit today.
 
Hi Jerome. I am not using your service as I am in another country. I have a similar setup as yours (haproxy I presume) for my home devices - ipad, roku 3 and pc, just wanted to ask if you have managed to make Vudu work. I am stuck with all the geo ip checks it makes and cannot find the last one (I guess - after cs*.vudu.com) to redirect. If you have made any effort with it let me know if you can figure it out.
 
Hi jsheed, netflix and hulu not working since early this morning.
originally it was just on my laptop and then tried putting the DNS on the router. Still not working...

Hi,

I've rebooted the server that the proxy runs off.

Please try again.

I'll look at rebuilding this weekend as connectivity appears intermittent (possibly Netflix or Hulu changing config on their side). Hopefully the rebuild helps as its been pretty stable for 4 months, only starting to see issues now.

Not sure if anyone could help, I seem to be having trouble with using any dns's with a windows 8 laptop.

hulu plus
ipad - works
android - not working "date and time error 143"

netflix
ipad - works
android - works

I haven't had a chance to rebuild yet, but I have written a script for check for service issues and automatically restart if there is a problem. I'll monitor that for a bit and see what responses are like.

I'm also behind on adding UK support. Hopefully this week or when I get some leave approved. Life has just been passing me by and I haven't had the time.
