Thailand/Bangkok QA thread

Anyone over there at the moment, how are you finding your electricity bills this month? I just got my bill for my place and it's more than double what it was last month :crying: Only things consuming power while I'm not there are the router, Wi-Fi security camera, fridge, a timer-controlled outside light and a timer-controlled pond pump.

Aircon?

Heading out in a month. Are there any travel vaccines required or recommended?

The Philippines is a good place to live. We spend 4 years near Baguio next to the Foggy Mountain Cookhouse which is north of Manila

Very friendly people, inexpensive food. Very safe (never heard of any burglaries or trouble). The local Fire Station is very well equipped with US equipment

Nice view from the front. The bottom 3 rooms in this house were occupied by a school teacher and his wife. We fitted the 5000 gallon water tank and got the air-con working after a battle
