One can also argue that even the engine itself is a wear and tear item at a certain mileage, but you can't slyly lump that under regular maintenence and claim to be cruising nicely.

My EB seems fine, im sure they break is because they use kek oil and not the decent oil it needs.

I'm sure they use shell helix or even that budget midas oil and call it a day.

Sure, not regular as in an oil change or like the diff and gearbox oil change on my Touareg every 120k km, but it is expected to be done at some stage.

Old Reliable engines, before the 1L Ecoboosts came into the market. Back then Fiesta ST and Focus ST's were still a thing.
