That engine is begging to be tuned, stage 2 with straight pipe and hauling in no time!VW Caddy 2.0TDI 80KW
Gearbox destroyed its self, 5th gear are a weak point on the 2.0TDI.
Replaced it with a gearbox from a 1.9TDI Passat, straight fit. Much more fun to drive, better acceleration in 1st and 2nd, better overtaking in 5th. Fuel consumption went from 20KM/L to about 18KM/L

Spoke to Robbie Ferroli about it, he said the 5 speed is no good, cant get much torque as of the clutch starts to slip. Need to get a 6speed and then easy 190kwThat engine is begging to be tuned, stage 2 with straight pipe and hauling in no time!
Nothing like sound of straight pipe diesel in the morning! Your neighbours will love you haha

Is it a CVT?2015 Mazda CX5 2.0 Active Auto just crossed 250 000 km. Owned Since new, not a days problem to mention.
- 3 x sets or tyres
- 4 x sets brakes pads
- 2 x sets wipers
- Almost bought the rear view camera, but it fixed itself removing it and drying
- Loose spoiler always coming lose and making rattles, double sided tape between the rear wind screen and the spoiler fixed that
- Door rubber, are now coming lose, still to fix this.
- Small Fender bender, that resulted in a new drivers door panel.
- 3 x Windscreen changes due to chips
- 2 x Drive belts changes
- All Services up to date at the Stealers, which have taken care of 4 Mazda through them, even though the two were essentially a Rangers, BT-50’s
This has been a highlight of our maintenance journey, even we’ve had cars with high’ish mileages, but kudos to Mazda for a fantastic product………
I trust this product that I’d buy it again, same model if it has had the same love care as mine!!!! View attachment 1855461

*UPDATE*My daily 2011 Toyota Auris ticked over to 200 000km the other day.
What a reliable car that does its duties with no fuss at all and I got it at 159 000km 13 months ago.
No major issues to date, just normal services.![]()

Curious to know how is this Auris pushing along?
These CX-5's are impressive
Got a 2017 2L auto for white and it is currently on 137 000km.
Got it at 46 000km in 2020 and it has a trouble free motoring experience.
I would buy another 1 for peace of mind motoring.
They are just awesome SUV with no drama.I love those Mazdas, wife has a CX-3 and there are two more in the family (CX-30 as well), I'm definitely eyeing a potential CX-5 purchase somewhere
