Rear end mostly. Just got it back a few weeks ago as well after getting a new head :cry:

Of course you can probably guess what I'm driving at the moment... :whistle:

Very what car is it? What has gone wrong in the years gone by?

Mine hit 265000 and finally something went wrong, the aircon pully started making a noise. Had it reconditioned and all is well again. This is the first non service or normal wear item to go on my Mazda 6. I guess a pully gets wear so has to eventually go wrong i guess. Had the aircon cleaned up and refurbished, re-gas'd and a new belt put on while they were down there just to make sure. Might as well get it all done whilst it was stripped down. Now it's on to 300 000 i guess.

Have done nothing but normal services, shocks, tyres, brakes. I haven't even had to replace the exhaust yet and I stay close to the ocean. I have a rust spot the size of a R1 coin on my door pillar, dammit have to get that fixed someday.

Lets See i'm on my 3rd starter but the prev 2 were refurbs this one is new.
Valve stem seals were done within the last 100k km.
Rings are still factory.
Cam belt is now due and as mentioned above been changed twice now already with no snaps.
Changed alternator once but i didn't know i could just replace brushes.
Stone chipped radiator so i replaced that (same price as getting it welded).
Tappit cover gasket leaked but that was replaced same time as valve stem seals were done.
thermostat was replaced once.
rear silencer box on the exhaust developed a hole had that replaced.
both radiator fans gave in recently replaced that.
slave cylinder rubbers started leaking replace the rubbers only.
aircon has a leak somewhere can't be bothered to spend the money and time to find the leak and get it fixed.

besides normal service items everything is original still. had the car around 10 years now. nothing major has happened. only been stuck twice which was radiator and slave cylinder.

Sweet ride man! Let see what happens when she hits 999999 it might roll back to 0 and then you can sell it for a pretty penny.

Only properly reading your message now, that's impressive, will probably outdo my car given enough time.
