The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

Hi Guys

PLs download 'Interval Trainer' off the play store, it has HIIT workouts with timers and you can create your own workouts. All you need it floor space (bodyweight exercises) and around 10-20 mins a day.Try and do this on an empty tummy in the morning for maximum fat burning.

Lets see. Started the year at 75kg , still at 75kg. BF did drop by 0.5% according to the potato machine

You'll see the OP and tracker is a bit confused when it comes to your figures. No idea how to fit it in there. Maybe I should create something seperate, but it seems that you are the only one who measures his loss in body fat at this stage :)

bowl ffs.

bowel is that thing in your body that makes poo. So you do mix it in the bowel eventually, but not in the recipe! :p

Whoops lol, well it was the morning routine when I typed :p

@Fannie, you saw my update? -> 140kg this morn.

I hate when people say they tried lchf but had carb cravings and gave up..... after 2 days.

yes, because losing weight is supposed to be easy, right?

of course you'll have cravings, whenever you change a habit of course your mind is going to say "where's my dose of daily [whatever]"

will power, it's really not that hard.

I just cant understand it. I used to easily eat a bag of chips as a snack but since I have stopped, I dont have any cravings.

I cant get why people struggle with it. My friend says he will die without carbs and dreams about them when he tried lchf.

Understood, but I don't want you to feel I'm excluding you

lol, it was thanks to this group last year that contributed to my progress. Nothing felt better than making progress and posting it and seeing the results over time.

I used to eat at least 1 chocolate a day, drink 2L coke a day, and probably at least 1kg of biltong a week, and lots of chips over the weekend at the braai.

Now I don't eat chocolate
I drink only water and coffee with cream
i keep biltong to a minimum as I love that shizz
no chips at the braai

of course i crave stuff, it's natural, especially after the massive amounts of it I had before... but hey, it's as easy as saying no.

We have a tub of 5L bar one ice cream in the fridge. I scoffed some of it down on the 3rd of Jan before I started... and since then my kids have had ice-cream every second night... sitting next to me on the couch... do I feel like eating some of it? of course I do, but then I don't. Did I die? Maybe a little inside (and maybe its the sound of fat cells dying and not me :D ) but when I get on the scale and the weight comes off, I'm so happier for my choice.

I think we live in a time when people are used to instant gratification. Things are easy to come by, and the bad stuff is everywhere.

No one has the will power and determination anymore to do anything long term any more.

People must realise, when things are hard to come by, the reward at the end of the day is so much more rewarding.

Some people are addicted to carbs.
I know I am.
