The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

OP updated

Something is off with my weightloss.

I've been stuck around 113.3 for a while now, probably two weeks. And this morning I'm at 113.9! :wtf: And yesterday I thought was one of my better days. Drank a lot of water, ate right, and not too much.

I think I need to start documenting exactly what I eat and drink, maybe I think I'm doing things right, and I'm not. :(

Salt?

With the current cooking in Durban, am drinking a LOT of water. This does add weight, relax, keep at it, good things will come.

Let me give you my intake of yesterday, and you tell me.

Breakfast:
2xeggs (no salt, no pepper, plain)
4xbacon
1xrainbow chicken vienna

Lunch:
1xchicken breast
Small about of coleslaw

Dinner:
2 small pieces of pork
nothing else :( power was off and was too lazy to do something else

So the only salt was the salt on the meat during lunch and dinner.

Check the ingredients of the Vienna and the coleslaw.

Check the ingredients of the Vienna and the coleslaw.

0.4g of a carb in a single serving of 55g (1 vienna)

the coleslaw i'll check from the shop i bought it, but i doubt they've added sugar. mostly made up from red and white coleslaw, not even carrots.

Mayo? Some mayo have higher carbs than others. At the moment I find Nola original to be lowest carb.

Yeh, I normally use Nola as well. Bought some banting mayo to other day, fukk me it's horrible. And not worth the 1 carb i eat less. It was like butter, thick!

The coleslaw I had from the shop almost had no mayo in it, but I'm thinking they might use like a vinegerette that might have sugar in it, I'll check with them.

Just make your own mayo at home. Healthier and better.

All you need is a hand/stick blender.

Break an egg into the beaker, add a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of mustard and a tablespoon of lemon juice (or some kind of vinegar, but use less if you do). Add one cup of oil. Push the blender all the way to the bottom of the beaker, turn it on and keep it at the bottom. Keep blending for a few seconds before slowly bringing the blender up. Et voila! Perfect mayonnaise.

Why not try real mayo, or don't you like it?

I'll try it, but I might be a lazy sod and just Nola the schit out of it.

Because Hellman's is expensive. I bought it once, and tastes schit.

Thats how real mayo tastes :D

Mayo is made with eggs, non of these "Mayos" we get in SA contains eggs, now how the hell can they call it Mayo??
Its like advertising a vegetarian pure Beef patty.

Edit
Thanks Fanie :P

Well according to a recent article, even vegetarian patties are now bad for you - carb, sugarwise :D

Trying the keto thing, haven't been able to get to the gym much lately, but when I do, I usually just jog 5km.

Dropped 4.5kgs in 4 weeks so far. Tons more to go. :/
