The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

True, my wife helps a lot with food prep. Maybe braai on the weekend but overcook and have leftovers for lunches. Some chops and wors would make great lunch snacks and I promise you, make a big batch of cauliflower, bacon, cheese and freeze it to have as a side, you won't look back.

Is it literally just cauliflower, bacon and cheese into one pot?

Has a bit of a meltdown last night at supper. Everybody making chicken fillet burgers and me just using salad and veggies

 those are out of budget it seems :P

Thanks I see its the same make. Why do you put it in the same place every time?

Slight differences in floor levels can make them read differently.

Terracotta tiles in the bathroom which are somewhat uneven. Any floor that isn't level or solid will affect the reading. Same place means it's more consistent.

Not quite a pot. Think potatoe or veggie bake. Bake in oven with cauliflower as the base with sour cream/cream and lots of bacon bits and cover with the grated cheese to melt over the lot.

From wife:

125ml mayo
125ml sour cream
However much cauliflower which you pre-boil for a bit.
Fry you bacon bits also till partially cooked.
Chedder cheese grated.
Optional: peppers, onions, mushrooms

Mix all in a bowel, add onion, green/yellow peppers to taste, some mushrooms, and lots of grated chedder cheese.
Transfer mix to baking dish.
Top mix with more grated cheese to make a layer.
Bake in oven for about 20mins at 180. JUST watch the cheese not to burn.

FYI @fannie, mornings weigh @ 140kg

Correct. I put my scale between the same tiles, same spot every morning :D Also, if the floor is softer, ie. wooden floor, the readings will differ as well.

bowl ffs.

bowel is that thing in your body that makes poo. So you do mix it in the bowel eventually, but not in the recipe! :p
