Still no water at home. Not gonna sweat it up.. so decided to braai instead!
Cheers!
So I went back to my old faithfull home routine I havent done in a while. I do the exercises in the below article but not quite like they do it. I do 45 seconds exercise 1, 15 seconds rest, 45 seconds burpees, 15 seconds rest, 45 seconds exercise 2, 15 seconds rest, 45 seconds burpees and so on.
Ya gotta love burpees![]()
Yeah.. I tried doing the mountain climbers inbetween exercises but for some reason I always mess up my groin when doing too many of them.... so switched to burpees. man it kills me.. I love it!
Didn't get to gym last night.. work/personal issues got in the way. I'm gonna try to do my own HIT stuff at home tonight.
Oooooohh.I'm the opposite. Fine with mountain climbers but sometimes battle with my hips with burpees.
Saw a video recently of a guy doing a combination burpee/mountain climbers: Drop down, pushup, 5 mountain climbers, jump in, jump up was one rep. Looked good but haven't tried it yet.![]()

Agreed, alarm went off smashed the light on the two little doggies death stared me and I thought haha pay back for waking me up in the middle of the night!Lekker!!! 90% of the work is just overcoming the brain's imulses to resist. Once you start it's like..... "Yeah man. I can do this" !!!
Mmmm... I get the urge for sleep in days often, but I too drag myself out of bed, 04:30am is early. Always feel better for it. Did a 20km cycle 55mins. Was back home before the family was even awake. There were quite a few others out running and cycling at that time too, although I go it alone I am never really alone.Almost slept in. But. Dragged myself out of bed and did a 38 minute 5km!

Well done! I used to be a serious night owl until July last year then I watch a few videos on youtube about getting up early, from getting up around 630->4:45 I am now where I want to be. I have a head start against the world so its worth it!Mmmm... I get the urge for sleep in days often, but I too drag myself out of bed, 04:30am is early. Always feel better for it.
