Sorry guys I managed to acquire tendonitis by picking up a heavy concrete statue.
My arm is in sling and haven't been able to exercise since starting the thread.
On a positive note I have lost a little weight currently 84.9kg's which is pretty much stress and pain meds doing.
Not a weigh-in, but one day later and I'm on 149.0. Those carbs weren't at all good for water retention. Yesterday I walked 6100 steps, so that obviously helped - combined with eating healthy.150.1
Was down to 149.2 by Friday, but had some hotdogs and pizza on the weekend.
This is too true. I remember having this mindset on previous weight loss expeditions, but I forgot it a bit since 55KG feels like it will take an eternity. But this time I have the motivation.
I thought I'd watched that video but I was thinking of the 50lbs one. Glad I decided to finally check anyway.
I've really let my diet slip recently (a bad case of a "you've earned it" mindset). I'm even back to drinking sugar in my coffee.
It'll be interesting to see what effect just cleaning up my diet will have. I'll skip working out this week to have some proper incentive.
Diet > exercise but diet + exercise and you're golden.
Anniversary today, had breakfast at makaranga gardens and then walked them exploring, 5k steps in a hour easy and very enjoyable.
For those doing IF - do you drink black coffee / tea during fasting? This podcast Joe Rogan - Time Restricted Eating with Dr. Rhonda Patrick (Ph.D in biomedical science) caught my interest as she clearly states right at the beginning that anything other than water starts off all the processes of your body, so you're no longer in fasting mode.
Thoughts? I may not make it if I have to give up the black coffee as well....
Yep. I have a few cups.
I'm very curious about the autophagy aspect of IF, but I'm finding conflicting info as to whether coffee (black, no sugars / sweeteners) disrupts, or aides autophagy.
Sounds like that time I tried that Heba Pap banting pap stuff. Crisis, fibre overload of deathJudging by the amount of poo I've exuded today, I expect to be under 111kg tomorrow
