The 2019 Weight Loss Thread

79.9kg which is a miracle considering the amount of alcohol/food consumed this weekend mixed in with the quitting of smoking.

Pretty sure I'm super dehydrated and tricking the scale.

Offspring was in hospital from Wednesday to Sunday which killed the diet and training for me. Leaving for France on Wednesday so restarting on my return

Good Morning. Missed weigh in last week. Embarrassed to report I’m 123,4 (2KG up from two weeks ago).

Had guests staying over for a week coupled with emotional eating.

Starting today I start over. Back to basics

Referencing Sugarman's spreadsheet, you've maintained from mid March. There are going to be ups and downs and plateaus.

You have have lost over 30Kg of weight and 15 of which since the beginning of this thread

WHICH IS A FRIKKIN AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT

Crack on, you got this.

Weigh in 89.9.

Slightly annoying since I was 89 yesterday morning, but I guess a day of doing nothing except drinking wine and eating peanuts isn’t the best way to spend the day before a weigh in.

Anyway, half a kg down from last week so it’s not too bad

Not too bad at all. Only 2kg away from your goal weight!

Drinking water is one way to address the hand to mouth habit thing when you are quitting smoking. Also helps with hydration and appetite so all good.

I quit smoking in my early thirties (took me two solid attempts) and I did subsequently put on weight. If I had known then what I do now about diet and exercise, I could probably have managed that a lot better.

Being able to quit smoking was totally worth the weight gain though.
