Africa has the hardest qualifying of all confederations. If we win this group then we go through to the next round to play home and away against the other group winners. So from the 10 group winners it gets cut into 5 and they go on to the WC. Europe is relatively easy as they have more spots. They have like 10 groups with no qualifying for those getting into the groups so you get groups with like Andorra and San Marino in them. The winners qualify straight to the WC. Then to make matters worse the 2nd place teams have a chance to qualify as well in their own round robin tournament. Not sure think they have 5 in a pool an top 2 goes through but someone can confirm
South America is easiest as almost half the continent qualifies for the WC and they have an opportunity to have a fifth team qualify through the inter-confederations qualifiers. Africa's qualifiers for WC are stupid difficult.
