We will play with 1 'proper' striker in Mphela, and then either Parker, Nomvete, or Moriri, will play as a wing or support striker.
 
My maid was watching the anouncement and jumped for joy when Benni was not mentioned.
 
I still maintain that leaving Moon out is a mistake. I don't have confidence in the other right backs' (Gaxa and Ngcongca) overlapping and crossing abilities.
Lance Davids is lucky as he hasn't seen much action lately. He will probably not play unless there are injuries.
 
Parreira did say that he would have around 70% of locally based players in the final squad. He did excatly as he said...

I would have take Moon over Davids any day, because he (Daivids) has more chance to play as a right back than a central midfielder.
Ngcongca plays as a defensive midfielder or central defender at his team, so he is not your natural right back. Cale disappointed, but that guy can shoot with both legs from anywhere.

I expected him to be chopped. He is good but not for the current system played by the coach.
I've noticed that Mphela and Nomvethe while playing as the main strikers normally drift wide and cross for the second striker/attacking midfielders.
That means that there is no place for a winger like Cale.
