why cos my opionion differs...i have coached at grassroats...i attend local matches...i hear what goes on at meetings.....blacks play soccer...whites play soccer...coloured play soccer...yet when you look at that bafana team it seems that only blacks can play well...the makeup of the 1994 african nations team..are you familiar with it...if you are not..try google...that should be the makeup of the team....that team was successfull...get an education..

ill informed? rascist? you are halarious. if you think race is not the base for most things in this country then you are ignorant. i would just like to see recognition that everybody plays well. and they do. i have seen it. but they never reach the bafana team.

First of all, your 'writing style' makes my eye's bleed! Next, you accuse others of being ignorant of SA soccer, but don't know the year that they won the AFCON? Everyone loves the 96 team, but we need to know love the 2010 team.

I was sitting in the stands behind the goals when Masinga scored that. I remember it well.

I don't think that any of the players in that team played well because they were black/white/coloured. It was the best team of the time, much like the other suggestions in this thread have been about the best team available today.

i dont think booth will play though...he has played none of the firendlies back in SA...khumalo has started everyone i think...i think booth came on for a few minutes last night..

so klate shouldnt even make the provisional 23? they talk about form but the guys who have performed consistently all season is not in there. irwin isaacs at santos scored against most of the big teams this season also not a look in. why do players overseas get excluded. they are playing against the guys that are coming here to play. kermit erasmus had a good season. should of least made the squad...the bias against cape town based players is unfair..

Somewhere along the line you suggested that Benni should be in the team (form is temporary, class is permanent lol) so I think it's reasonable to say you're riding your own personal hobby horse here.

Anyway, enjoy your tournament. I've just been offered another ticket (Ned / Den, first round). :D
