More google. Now that looks great. Will try that on Sundays when gym is empty.

In my signature, on that site is a section with some workout programs feel free to check out the 5x5, you can alter that and use the principal on your waist.

Soooo...

What type of exercises should I do to gain muscle around the middle? Wife is complaining I am getting too thin, so I am trying to replace the fat I used to have with muscle. So far everywhere except the middle has seen muscle growth.
...
So silly that people would rather have you be fat with low muscle mass than thin with the same amount of muscle mass :p I suppose the norm these days is to be fat? :)

I suppose being fat for about 6 years being together and suddenly being thin(ish) has a strange effect. I dont even know whats my goals anymore to be honest. Just trying to be fit.

Thanks

I have plenty of protein and normally I do a few sets of crunchs. Anything else I should try?

Still trying to find my optimal diet and keep my weight constant.

I wouldn't even bother with crunches, planks(for time) and leg/knee raises do a better job and are easier on your spine

Isn't dad bod when it looks like the dude in question used to be an athlete in school / colllege and actually has some decent muscle under the flab? I. E. Some muscle is required

Hey guys, I need some help.

Age: 25
Weigh: 70kg
Height: 1,73m
Physic: Slender
Disabilities: Scoliosis

-Maximum dumbbells 15kg and cant go higher...
-Since 2013 I gained 10kgs, Id say 30% muscle and 70% fat...
-My core is weak and I barely ever do exercises for it because of my scoliosis. (I can't do crunches, my back is too stiff)
-My back is also weak as I try not to strain it too much due to my scoliosis.

Supplements:
Can not afford any Supplements right now. I don't have a job and my diet is also not as healthy as when I had a job.

Diet:

Breakfast:

Jungle Ultra energy oat based cereal with milk: 150g of cereal with milk

Lunch:

4 slices of bread with ham or sliced up viennas on ( 2 sandwiches)

Dinner:

2 hamburgers with egg, bacon, avocado and tomato sauce. (3 - 4 times a week)

or

3 chicken drumsticks and a potato baked in the oven. (2- 3 times a week)

or

Quick noodles with tuna. (1 - 2 times a week)

When I go to the gym:
-I swim every Monday, Wednesday and over the weekends.
-Tuesday Upper body (arms and chest) and 5km on the bicycle
-Thursday Legs and 5km on the bicycle
-Sunday Upper body (arms and back) and 5km on the bicycle

I am not getting stronger or growing. still look skinny and getting a bit of a boep. Cant go heavier.

Need help.. please.

Thanks, going to try all these types for a awhile. My time spent at gym is limited so have to make the best use of it. Thats why I pretty much removed cardio.

After 5 months I have dropped my bf from 25 to 14.x

I really want to get to 12-13.

Its strange how I get happy going to gym.

Some guys at gym are huge...... My goal is not to be like that.

Women are strange. Started the year by saying my boobs are bigger than hers. Now I am too thin.

I give up.

I would say cut out the carbs for awhile and try the banting diet to remove the strain of the boep. Might help the spin a lot.

And reduce cardio and do light muscle training.

Just say "I can always go and find another wife that like me as is." with a smirk on your face.
That will pretty much be the end of complaining one way or another.

@Random, what sort of weight training are you doing?

And the amount of carbs you are eating sounds excessive. 150g of jungle energy cereal? :wtf:

Beat these stats boys. Take discipline and good eating

I know it's not a great indicator, but your BMI is 20.4
Mine is 23.9 and I am 90kg @ 194cm. My BF is around 14-15%
There is no way you are 25.4%

That cant be right... unless you have absolutly no muscle and just fat...

I am 70kg - 1,73m and my BF is 10 - 15% if not less...

Damn machines hate me.. Ja that's the thing is I am skinny with little muscle tone but definitely not fatty except for a little boep forming
