All fair points. If you think quality bud is going into those cartridges you would be mistaken, most likely trim and popcorn buds. Definitely not premium bud.
Also if you smoking good bud then you shouldn’t have a high tolerance, that only happens when you smoke kak bud. Each to their own though. But I’ll just leave this here, hehe.

Yeah, no, now you're just being a silly elitist. I don't know why some people get so pathetic about what other people enjoy. Saying "each to their own" doesn't count for much after you've gone out of your way to insult "their own". I haven't seen anyone saying that's there's anything wrong with enjoying dry herb so I don't understand why so many herb guys feel like they need to aggressively defend their choice and dunk on distillate.
I find your assessment of tolerance strange. I'm no expert, but as I understand it you develop tolerance to THC. Kak bud has low THC compared to the other crap you land up smoking. Good bud has a higher THC compared to the other crap. You develop tolerance to the THC, not the other crap. The way you develop tolerance is by increasing how much THC you're consuming. High quality bud has more THC so will result in higher tolerance for the same amount being smoked. Using distillate regularly results in the quickest onset of tolerance you'll ever experience and it's because it's bloody 90% THC, not because it's made from offcuts.
I don't know what world you're living in where people experiencing tolerance from "kak" bud jump from rubbish R15/g weed to R1400/g just to be able to get high again. Normal people experiencing tolerance go from smoking R15/g to R50/g to R100/g to R250/g. Kak bud? I moved on to distillate because even Aquaponic bud wasn't doing it for me.
The only real way to address tolerance is to reduce THC intake. Smart people take T-breaks to address their tolerance. Dumb people like me move onto increasingly expensive, higher-THC products. I've since taken a T-Break to reset my tolerance so I don't technically need to use distillate to get high, but I've come to find I simply enjoy it more because of convenience and the fact that my asthma doesn't get triggered nearly as much by it compared to herb.
