The Division

Anyone playing this? , any local clans worth joining?

Single player / Multi player / Co-op

Not sure if you need to be connected for Single player though.

REQUIRES BROADBAND INTERNET CONNECTION NO OFFLINE GAMEPLAY

According to BTGames

Just a side note, but did you watch the Year One trailer?
Quite a nice overview of what to expect, and when.

Yeah! After watching it I pre-ordered :)

Probably like Diablo 3. Single player but you play on servers. Less loot duping.

Yeah exactly like D3... they've even implemented D3's trading system :p

Loot picked up while in a group can only be traded with group members

Is the game any good? Steam reviews are 55% negative.

Yea, their problem was that a lot of that info was left client side. But I think Oculate pointed out now that they have implemented their anti-cheat solution, so hopefully all goes well.

Was really happy about this. When I started playing with a friend in the open beta (with my max rank agent), I kept picking stuff up that would've been great to give him, but ended up junking it instead.

howzit all. I am a bf4 player and getting a bit board, now I am looking for something else to play as well.
I have planetside2 ,h1z1, dayz, ark... I don't play them because they are ether un optimized or no local servers. pvp is near imposable with high pings/latency and your opponents almost always have the upper hand. i have a good laptop (except for the gpu) and play bf4 on medium settings with a 60fps so i hope i can play division with a reasonable fps.

----so the big question is----what is the ping/latency like in this game----

I'd ask if you're happy with the mechanics first. PS2 is probably the best gauge of how killing is handled in this game.
I haven't played on the live servers yet, but had no issues holding my own in the Dark Zone. I can't give you actual millisecond response times, but I didn't notice anything that made the game unfair from my perspective.

Fork me R2K for a game!!!

PS2 is probably the best gauge
cant say i know how to play on ps2 ect.

I haven't played on the live servers yet, but had no issues holding my own in the Dark Zone
it is the live server that worries me. bots are one thing but another player close to the server is a whole new kettle of fish.

but anyway, if you get a chance to test multiplayer in the dark zone, please let us know what you think

Just to clarify, the Betas had actual PvP in the Dark Zone, as well as AI. I played with/against Russians, British, Americans, what sounded like Spanish and another South African. Which country they were actually in, I am not sure, but would assume all were somewhere in the EU.

Going rogue cost me many times :)

I will try post feedback once I've been in after launch though.

I'll hopefully to do the same for the console side!

My game only arrived today, so I'll be whacking the 3gb update (that I know of) and diving in this evening...

So to give the feedback of "Day 1", it was an overall positive experience.
My biggest annoyance was that my extras were not available after 4 hours of playtime (was starting to outlevel them by this point), making the pre-ordered stuff mostly a waste.

Aside from that, there were a few minutes of very noticeable lag in an otherwise enjoyable experience. None of the "door blocking" or oversaturating of the Activating officer problems that were encountered soon after launch.

Haven't gone too far in, but tonight I should pass the point that the betas offered.
Looking forward to it.

Got stuck at activating agent. Played Destiny rather.
