@Icemanbrfc: The S802 is considerably faster than the S805 so you should rather look at the MXIII if you can afford it. TheS805 is an entry level machine for those on a smaller budget.

Hi, I just got my MX 111 this morning (good service from AV Supply). Looking forward to playing around over the weekend.
Have experience with xbmc with a raspberry pi.
A few questions:
Remotes , which are the best for this device and is the supplied remote any good? Discuss.
Does the xbmc remote app from the play store work?
Could I use my Sony bluetooth headset , it does pair well with all my other android devices.
Thanks

Hi maxXED

A Gyroscopic Mouse / Keyboard combo is the best solution for the MXIII, but there are also some nice smartphone remote applications available

Regarding Bluetooth headset, did you buy the 2GB MXIII?

I did buy the 2GB.

Cool, your Bluetooth headphones will work fine then

Only thing is, I recently found out that the latest firmware disables Bluetooth. The factory is working on a fix which I'll put in a patch for all 2GB owners

Should have it before the weekend

Bluetooth dongle support will be an issue

Rather get the MXQ if bluetooth is required

Is anyone using Pseudo TV live? I need the keyboard shortcuts for it. My mouse doesn't work with it.

Any pointers on how to free up some space on my ATV120 stick...XBMC keeps throwing this error: SQL Insertion failed because database is full.

Thanks

If it's an Android space issue, go to "Android Settings >> Apps" and see how much cache and data each application is using. In the same menu you will have the option to clear the data and cache for each app

**EDIT - Don't remove data and cache from XBMC

Interesting that J, what are the reasons for not clearing the XBMC Cache? Data I can understand, but cache?

I have discovered its not Apps but its the thumbnails...the folder userdata/thumbnails/ is over 800MB and the ATV 120 stick comes with 1GB ram and 2GB flash memory so I'll have to look at this guide http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Reduce_disk_space_usage to reduce or totally remove thumbnails from the device.

You will want to use Pathsubstitution settings in advancedsettings.xml to specify where thumbnails should be saved instead. Insert 8gb/16gb SD and make it the home for your thumbnails....
