Interesting that J, what are the reasons for not clearing the XBMC Cache? Data I can understand, but cache?

Cannot get BBC iPlayer add-on to work with XBMC.

dns4me setup and can access on PC with browser.

XBMC keeps giving script error. Any suggestions?

@dualmeister: Just tried to install the latest iPlayer v2.5.9 from the link below and keep getting Script failed errors.

@dm: I wasn't able to get the iPlayer app to work using dns4me, but it does work with the free Playmo DNS 214.5.182.127 / 213.5.182.117. I can't get the XBMC iPlayer add-on to work with either though. You could try a free week of UnoTelly to see if that helps.

@dm: It appears that the BBC has changed over to a completely new API and that add-on is no longer working. Pity I never tested it earlier.

@dm: I wanted to compare the XBMC add-on with the android app which has a few issues. Apparently the FilmOn add-on is not being updated anymore so it might be better to use FilmOn via the FTV add-on instead which is preinstalled on the MXIII.

That's the one. Only change I had to make was to use the alternate URLs as per here:
