The Droid TV thread

U mean like Android L? That would rock :-)
This would require a locked boot loader.

@balky: Thanks for the feedback. What batteries/charger are you using?
The batteries are Duracell 1000mAh and the charger is an old Energizer charger that takes AA and AAA batteries.

If anybody else is interested I can confirm that the iPlayer add-on for XBMC that dualmeister posted above is now working again.

This appears to be the best option currently for getting iPlayer running on one of the DroidTV units. I have also tested the iPlayer android app but the XBMC add-on is far superior. There are multiple Akamai and Limelight streams available for each episode at 480, 800, 1500 and (HD) 3200kbps.

You will need to select the Use Proxy option (justproxy.co.uk) as explained below. Consquently this add-on does not require the use of any additional DNS Proxy such as Unotelly which is another advantage. The Live streams are still not working but they are available in the UK Live TV folder in the FTV add-on.

System > Add-Ons > Enabled Add-Ons > Video Add-Ons > BBC iPlayer > Configure > Use Proxy (blue bullet) > OK
There is an uninstall option below the iPlayer Configure menu if required.

Good stuff :)

Confirmed that Bluetooth is now working and Netflix looks pretty good. Stable rom and boot time is ace as per usual. Looking pretty damn impressive in Android TV box land.

AV Supply is pretty cutting edge as the U.S doesn't even have the rom yet.

Like I said it seems Xmas came in November with release of the rom
