The Droid TV thread

But is it as nerdishly awesome as Kit Kat on an 2Gb S802 unit? :)

If XBMC is all you want, absolutely! :)

I haven't tested it yet, hopefully it's as stable as the Gotham release for the MX2

XBMC, web browsing, stability, performance, app selection. Just the basics, thanks :D

@d4zza: What make/model of cameras are you using?

No clue. The stuff is only getting installed in the new place in Dec, and only moving there in Jan, so will only be able to check and play then.

It's not a huge mission if I can access them via the media player.

I need help again. Got a message that cache is full on my mx iii. So I deleted thumbnails by mistake.now all the pics are gone from the screens for various options, cartoon etc. Also my live tv is not working, no channels, no epg etc. How do I clear the cache.
thanks

I think you have to boot into recovery and clear it from there.

I cannot get Plex to output DTS. I get DTS in xbmc but no sound with the same video in Plex. All settings look correct.

Any ideas?

Thank once again for your help bro. I tried Plexbmc but keep getting a script failed error.
The external player method works though.
Had issues with plexbmc also . Reinstalled xbmc from scratch , and the script errors on plexbm were still three. I installed the beta version of the addon and it started working ok

Lol indeed. Trying to see if the bank will let me take from my bond for a Droid box lol... I'm sure they won't mind ;)

@bierman I'm not familiar with the MxII G boxes. Why didn't you rather uninstall XBMC prior to loading Kodi provided that it's not too much trouble, I read about several places where XBMC needed to be replaced by Kodi in the source code.
Other than than you should be able to just drag the Kodi to your launcher unless it's a preset on your stock launcher that was put there by the manufacturer or firmware developer. Cant judge from the picture quality.

Let us know how it goes
