Italy are a weak/old team I think in one game they 3 players under 29 on the pitch.

Itally supporters should wake up and realise a team that tries to defend a 1-0 lead against a team with one less man because they struggle to produce any clear chances stand no chance in the tournament.

They were lucky to get a deflection which resulted in the 2nd goal and knowing their form the first goal the defender should have just left him to go 1on1 against the keeper.
 
I agree with Kill a dude!
Senegal were better than France in 2002 WC.
France were terrible in this competition. Not that France is a bad team.
 
Any chance they were given was pointless as they had nobody to finish, dont like the Italian mentality of getting everyone back because they have a goal lead.

I think they going to get a shock when they come against the free flowing football of the spanish.
 
supa actually spain hate teams like italy because they cannot get that flow going

against russia, they could because russia attacked but against sweden spain looked like they had no clue what to do

a good defensive team will be spain's downfall

That was a friendly. Lots of experiments.

Spain do not like it when they don't have the space to play their game. They won't be given that space by the Italians.

Lets see how they cope if they are behind and need to break down a good defence.

On Toni missing the chances. I agree he should have put them away but the guy is class he has shown it in serie a and the bundesliga its only a matter of time.

they are decent enough, just lack quality, they did have enough quality though to almost beat italy and draw with france :)

Why you changing your tune? You said that Greece and Romania are better than France?

France are out!!! Dont you follow the competition? I am saying, since when did France suddenly become crap? In your books, you say Greece and Romania are better side. I say that is RUBBISH!


Italy play boring football. Defensive style football. Luca Toni must be the worst striker in the world. Even Italian supporters pray he doesnt start! He is hopeless, he should hang his boots up.

I hope he starts against Spain, at least i know Casillas will have an easy time in goal.

When did this happen???? Have you guys actually watched Toni over the years? Do you think his sudden lack of attacking power has only happened now?? :D
All the years, Toni has been like the totthless tiger! His there in front of goal, but he is also not there. :D


He is pathetic! Before this tournament, people were hoping he doesnt start!!

lol no i dont know what your talking about kule, france are not crap at the moment, at the moment france are about the best euro team kule, france are just super amazing, could not believe france did what they did in euro


hope to see them in quarters kule :) because france are not crap and they won all 3 of their group games by 6-0 and breezed in the quarters because france are not a crap team at the moment, france are so good they might still win euro

France lost 2 games in the Euro's and now they are worse than Romania and Greece. Cant wait to tell the boys at the pub about this amazing logic :D

there is no way a team with such a history and a world leader in football could be out before the quarters, scored one goal and not won a game
no ways france played like crap and got knocked out in the group stages
no ways france could not score more than once
no ways they conceded 6 goals in 3 games
no ways france never won a game

all their history says it cant be so

if you have been good for many years you will never be bad!!!!!!

in this comp france are not a good team!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are amoung the worst teams at euro 2008!!!!!!!!!

i said holland never played a good team

spain portugal germany are good teams, italy and france are not good teams
big teams yes not good teams

what is so hard to understand about that

holland would have struggled more against greece than they did france :)

@ Killa - stop watching football now. I think it might be too much for your brain to handle. You think that France and Italy are not good teams, yet they were probably favourites to win the damn Euros.
