Yeah, Turkey did well considering the players that they had and the fact that they had already got way further than they were expected. A few decisions either way and some better or luckier finishing and they could have won easily.

Germany are in the final, they deserve to be in the final. They were better than all the teams they have met so far.

I do not agree with any of that. Germany have been pretty lucky with the opposition they have faced so far. They lost to a decent Croatia side already and were lucky to beat an out of sorts Portugal the game before.

It would have been interesting had Turkey had their 1st 11 playing

Crushed? Come now.

Portugal only played for about 10 minutes in that game and still managed to score 2 goals. 2 of Germany's goals came from some shocking defending...Germany did what they had to do, but they certainly did not dominate anyone.

It does not matter if they have lost to them before or not. On the night Portugal played really really poorly. Germany were also not great but they did enough to get through. Take away the two free-kick goals and it's a whole different game.

Come on man. Germany beat Portugal. They always beat Portugal. Why should they lose now. I take it you support Portugal?

I don't need to find a reason why they lost. It is pretty clear. I suppot England, cos that is where I am from. So these other countries all mean nothing to me. I just watch the games cos I enjoy good football.

i am baffled by the fact you would think Portugal would have beaten Germany. Germany showed Portugal why they have 3 stars on their shirt. Portugal have no stars ;)

Dude, if Portugal had played like they did in the group games then they would have won that game easily.

Fair enough. All I am saying is that it could have been way different, had Portugal played the way they had up till then and the way they can play.
 
thing is germany has not played well the whole tournament

poland made them look good, lost to croatia, took something special from ballack to beat austria

play a poor portugal team, germany didnt play much better

last night was the worst german performance i have ever seen, they are lucky turkey where missing a few good players and their no 1 goalie

spain or russia will win this euro

since that 4-1 drubbing of russia, spain have looked aweful, no penetration

sweden they where not good, italy they where shocking

they have become to defensive and pass the ball around way to much in their own half

now maybe its because they dont like playing against good defenses, maybe russia is the perfect team for them because russia dont sit back

in saying that hiddink would have learnt where it went wrong against spain

I agree.

Tonight should be good cos both teams' defences are not exactly awesome. Hope there are a lot of goals :)
