Mischa have started making their own MCC: https://www.mischaestate.com/product/limited-edition-mcc-2016/

"Mischa’s first ever MCC has a rich golden colour sparkling with thousands of small bubbles. With a luxurious nose of initial apple and pear which develops into honey cake and biscuits, this MCC is fresh and beautifully aromatic. This classic style MCC has a crisp acidity enjoyed most when chilled, with flavours of peach, pear, zesty mousse and finally a fresh biscuity flavour leaves you enticed and entranced by its flavour. Any celebration will be complete with this MCC. From holiday parties, birthdays, high-teas to just sitting back and enjoying summer, this MCC certainly inspires a sense of celebration."

APPEARANCE: A luxuriously rich golden colour sparkling with thousands of bubbles.

NOSE: Primary aromas of apple and pear which develop into honey cake and biscuit.

PALATE: An elegant initial acidic peach, pear and zesty mousse rolls over into a smooth, biscuity finish.

FOOD PAIRING: Perfect for any celebration, pairing well with finger foods, soft cheeses, cold meats and cakes.

Just ordered a 12 bottle case Morgenster again - fully aware of the fact that the cork brakes when opening.
But such a lovely "drop" of wine! Also, I stocked up since we can. I took the kids out of school to pay, but it was worth it!

Wade Bales anybody? Join them.

I buy nearly ALL my winen from Wade Bales. Also saw that special, but still have lots of that wine left. My corks don't break.

well, we just finished the bottle now... o_O
I will do a 750ml bottle quite quickly by myself, sometimes followed by a few brandies / cognacs / grappa, but I have never done 1500ml alone before in one sitting of about 3 hours. I realise that it is possible though, and at the same I hope that there was more than one of you enjoying the fruit of Bacchus.
