It is expected, as TM do not use DC HSPA+ (42Mbps), just single carrier 21Mbps. This allows Vodacom claim to be the fastest 3G network, but it takes twice of bandwith, so more users come, your speeds will decrease much quicker. TM is focusing instead on fast LTE deployment. They recently upgraded tower in my location, quite rural area on the border of city. But a big disappointment awaited me - Telkom's HSDPA speeds is nowhere near that of Vodacom. Even though I have full 5 bars of signal on the 593, the Telkom HSDPA speeds are about half those of Vodacom:
Simply reset it? While it is turned on, use a toothpick to depress the reset button between the WLAN and WPS rocker switch. Hold in for 10-20 seconds. Now you'll be able to use 'admin' as your password again.
Thanks for the replies, if the signal is not strong enough in certain areas of the house, would a wifi signal extender, 1 of those that you plug into a wall socket work in increasing coverage?

Correct, the first model you listed is the Vodafone /MTN Sh@relink version of the B593. The last model is Telkom Mobile's. The second model is not available locally that I know of...
MTN and VC LTE uses FDD 1800MHz and hence the first model.
Telkom Mobile LTE uses TDD 2300MHz.
