The Takealot website clearly states it's a B593s-601 model. I've also bought one from Takealot and it's definitely a B593s-601.
 
Right. Ordered. I already get an okay MTN LTE signal with my iPad Air. Anyone know how the built in antennas on the B593 compares?

I bought one from them just last week and it came with them, whoever replied might be confused. Maybe they thought you were referring to the external antennas. I'm pretty sure i wasn't just lucky

Performance are lack luster. I did some test with internal as well with paddle sticks.
Then at time I see better performance with the build in one. Then the next day it differs.
I need to say modem did not move from it's original position when I started testing.

I also need to say with real external antennas I get a better constant data through put. I did a journey from getting the router till external antenna installation.

Hello B593s-601 users.

Last night while playing online D3. Found my router whiteout LTE signal.
All my 5 bars disappeared all of a sudden. Then came back on 10 or more sec later.

Anybody had experience like this.
 
Need some advice: Should I get this router or should I future proof and get theE5186?

I do not live in a LTE-A area.
 
Is there a way to set static routes on the 601? I can't find the option.

The B593s-601 works for all ZA networks including Telkom (2300MHz)

The B593u-12 works great on Vodacom, MTN, CELL-C but not Telkom

I've got a spare B593u-12. If anyone wants to make an offer please PM me
