Are you sure you get 2 days of batt life?
I only get 1 day (with browsing on edge! That too for approximately 1&half hr a day! + calls (average about half an hr)
Is here some thing wrong with my batery? If so how do I sort it out?
Weird..
Where did you find this solution?
I will try do some research on your problem, but if you want to try that in the meantime, See the "How to SSH over USB " here, and run the Putty instead of filebrowser in iPhoneTunnel Suite
When in Putty, type 'alpine' as the password (there will be no feedback as you type the password in Putty)
Then:
Don't know what that does though to be honest.
Could you explain your problem a bit more please so I can understand it a bit more?

My personal method (you havent jailbroken yet i take it so this will not work yet. P.S. another reason to jailbreak):
1) Change to the list view in iTunes
2) Right click the song in your iTunes library that you want to add as a ringtone, click convert to AAC / "Create AAC Version"
3) Right click the newly converted song and click show in Windows Explorer.
4) Rename the track to <name>.m4r.
5) Transfer via SSH to the /Library/Ringtones folder
For non-jailbreak method, see here and here . Must be 30/40 secs long (instructions all there though)
Enjoy and good luck!
yesterday I say xgps, according to the log on cydia, its going to be a voice prompt turn by turn gps app (busy with development), tested it yesterday and with the iphone gps it works like a charm (maps are still a problem as they do not have expensive mapping software, the need to resort to google maps)
Maybe I'm missing something here, cause xgps isn't working for me. Even with the new version. When you say it works like a charm, what exactly works? Does it give you turn by turn navigation? It doesn't with me. Does it give you directions to a location? Doesn't with me. You can basically open the maps, same as with Google Maps, and it will give you your location based on your gps. But that's not what a GPS app is supposed to do?
The turn by turn based option comes with the new (long overdue) version. Its one of the only gps version that I can use offline without an active 3g/wifi connection, as you can download the maps to your phone
The new version came out yesterday, turn by turn still doesn't work.
Still trying to figure out how you use it? Do you just want to see where you are, or what else are you doing with it?
These little problems are driving me insane, this phone is supposed to be 'good'...............At least, I don't know how to. Should have an age restriction on this dang phone, I cannot keep up with all the technical stuff.
Thanks for all your help![]()

This has never worked for me - get it up to the point where it appears in the ringtone library, but there's no bell icon and when I sync, it doesn't move across to the phone. Is it because I'm on 1.1.1 software?
you have to have downloaded maps for turn by turn to work
maybe consider giving the phone to someone who'd appreciate it??

just a heads up for some Zeppelin fans... there's a kickass theme in cydia with a lockscreen and a rotating wallpaper. absolutely love it.
