What happens (in my experience), is that if you download apps via the appstore on your phone, you should transfer it to your pc/mac before you sync, else it will delete the apps. All you do is , right click on your iphone in itunes, and select transfer purchases, then it moves it from your phone to itunes and will sync from then on

Nice one, saw that option and thought that might do the trick.

What about Cydia apps? What happens to those at sync time?
 
Do you guys think there is really a benefit to buying the 32GB iPhone? I've loaded a lot of apps and games already, with about 500 photos and 1GB worth of videos, no mp3's though, and I still have 11GB left... ?

I have searched the thread and seen the discussions about FM transmitters for the iPhone... what I'd like to know is if anyone actually uses on on a daily basis... AND can recommend it?

Is there one that does not need airplane mode in order to avoid interference... and is that even possible?
 
Anyone with a mac willing to upload a iPhone 1,2 (3G) custom version 3.1.2 with activate unchecked? Still no luck with 3g + 3.1.2 + blackra1n ;(

the benefit is that it's the 3Gs, not the 3G, means it's quicker, (assuming you have a 16 gig 3G), the difference is noticeable

keep in mind, with jailbroken phone you can download youtube videos, which starts chowing storage, I've also got a good 20gig's worth of music, so the 32 gig is a big plus for me, can now carry my whole library, sold my 32 gig ipod touch as soon as the iphone 32 gig was released

Just about to attempt to upgrade a friend's 3G to 3.1.2 and JB with blackra1n - let's see how many attempts I'll need :rolleyes:

good luck, standing at like 50 attempts on 3 different usb ports and 2 different phones, no luck :(

I'M ANNOYED !!!
