you can get them via SSH too

Yup, that is an option, they will be in /private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/ subfolders.

You could also buy WifiPhoto for US99c and load it, connect to the iPhone on your wifi network (assuming you have that) and download them using your browser.

do any iphone users have a sound distortion on the earpiece speaker with the volume set on its highest position , depending on the pitch of the opposite party , the earpice speaker tends to distort , friend of mine has the same problem, both fones 3GS , i have noticed that the speakers does something similar with the volume on its highest setting (ringer),

yeah but i find putting the sound EQ for the iPod on Treble Booster or Bass Reducer helps.

For the in-built speaker I have the same problem... Just turn down the ringer volume a tad

Step 1: proceed to pick and pay,..
Step 2: purchase 1gig for telkom Adsl,..
Step 3: call a pal with telkom Adsl,..
Step 4: suck that firmware down in a jiffy,.. /possibly some pron with the remaining data or other firmwares,...
Step 5: return to The iPhone Tips/Tricks/Apps thread to irritate the pants of regular tip providers,...

After so many posts, you would think some folks would learn,..

Having problems jail breaking 3GS (serial ###43##) with Blackrain. Heard on the interwebs that this range of serial has new iBoot installed. Anyone managed to jailbreak it. Got it last week must be the newer batch.

Thanks.

i am looking for the 2009 NDRIVE Navigation Maps (version on Itunes store) , the maps most of us are using is 2008 maps , the 2009 maps include 3D buildings , please share it, in my experience Ndrive has the best routing algorithm , beating TOMTOM and Sygic.

My iPhone 3G for the last 2 days has had HORRIBLE signal..

People complaining they can't hear me.. i haven't been able to hear the people I'm talking to

SMS's not going through that I've sent and me not receiving or receiving late..

Then last night I was on a call, the line dropped.. I look at the screen it says no service.. I turn 3G on.. still no service.. 3G off no service.. I restarted the phone, still no service..

Eventually 15 mins later I see Vodacom there again with full signal..

Then 10 mins ago.. I receive a call, the signal is bad then the line drops.. I look at the screen, says NO SERVICE..

Now its just says searching..

IS MY iPHONE DEADED??

What do I do? Who do I call? Where do I take it?
