Oh yeh guys, meant to tell you the first 5 White iPhone 4 glass backplates I can do for a special! - R550 which is the cheapest available here in SA and R200 off the old price

Oh and the carbons are still R150. They are exactly like the famous "iCarbon" ones with Apple Cut-out. (the flash cutout is much nicer than the one in the pic. I'll get a pic of my ones up soon.)

Kinda gives the Apple logo a cool "3D" kinda effect. Oh yes and hoping to get the sides in soon too (which will also fix the "antenna gate" )

So as usual, PM me if interested I can organise shipping if you non-JHB guys want them too.

I found this and it worked for me!I can now connect to the net using 3G/2G on iphone 4

For ipnone.vodacom.za to work, you need to contact your service provider (Nashua in my instance).

For some reason vodacom has seperate apn for iphone, don't know why??

I'm speaking under correction but to the best of my understanding, you need the iphone.vodacom.za APN if you have a bolt-on data package, else you might suffer from inflated billing

Hmm that sucks.. They were giving them free with iPhone 4 purchases back during the free case program, so thought they would have stocked them after that..

Just watch out for the bidorbuy/ebay ones.. The fakes really aren't great.. But then again my original black one broke after a few months (rubber started tearing from plastic etc) and it wasn't abused as such..

Just don't remove it and put it back on too many times as i think I did..That was due to my TomTom car kit though as I couldn't dock it with the bumper on....

So i've got a fake bumper on for the time being, but the power button has already fallen out so i've had to transplant my old power button from my old bumper.. and the fake bumper is a bit too small, which presses the power button down on itself sometimes lol.. it'll do for now though

Check some local online stores, I can't vouch for them though...

Haha just on time then I can only speak for my fake bumper, but i'm pretty sure they are all similar.. Unfortunately I don't sell them lol sorry man.

picked it up form the istore. its a hard case cover which is nice. if you do happen to drop the phone, the case takes the impact and phone remains intact know of 3 other people using them.. all happy.

Another fake.. You can even see the dust/debris in the pics that gets stuck to it as it's full rubber.. Also won't be pleasant slipping that thing in and out of your pocket..

The original Apple bumper is plastic reinforced sides, with rubber edges.

The way to tell the real from fake is from the sides (should have plastic reinforcement), and also the original volume buttons are matte instead of shiny. Also, those volume buttons look rather recessed from the rubber case which could be rather uncomfortable when changing volume.

Don't get fooled by the free stylus crap and front and back screen protector rubbish..

The iPhone doesn't need a stylus and wasn't designed for a stylus - it is designed for the finger and works perfectly.

So my advice, give it a skip and go for a real bumper, or at least a half decent fake if you are going to go fake lol..

Regarding hard case mentioned above - full cases, especially hard cases especially make the phone feel like a brick to me.. Feels huge in your hand. Hence the reason I went with the bumper coupled with Carbon Fiber skin (now got the white backplate though which looks even more awesome)
