Just got my iPhone 4 and must say I am very happy with it. Never was a fan of iPhone, always used a blackberry, but now I see that iphone is really cool :) now.... where can I get a screen protector + bumper from? Im too lazy to search all 634 posts :)

Welcome to the club :)

If you want my recommendation, go for the "iFrog" matte screen protectors from Vodacom or other stores. Shop around, they go for R199 for a pack of 3 from Vodacom store, but I got mine for R139 from another little electronics store.

The give you much more visibility in light as the matte material does not allow the light to reflect. Always had these on all my iPhones.

Regarding bumpers, shanil1234 might be able to help you as he is also trying to locate one locally.

And then of course I have (and sell) the carbon fibre back glass protector skin for the back :) (scroll up a bit to post #9488)

Sadly Durban Vodacom Does Not Have This :-/

They're a bit bulky but actually compliment the device rather than handicap it. Good grip and tons of protection!! I dropped my phone on the tiled kitchen floor the other morning and not before juggling it a little, knocking it on and upwards. It was a horrible drop but it landed with a nice cushioned thud, the type you can only get out of a thick rubberized pouch. Zero damage as far as I could tell..

Id never get those, Infact they too bulky.
Ive got my iPhone for 3 months and never dropped it since. If you buying a 7k phone you should make it certain that accidents dont happen. Luckily mine is insured against accidential damages..

Very difficult with this Cygnett pouch on. It protrudes past the screen so dropping this phone on the floor with this pouch on, it's physically impossible to smack the screen
 
after searching high and low for a case for my iPhone 4 that would still fit into my TomTom car kit, I eventually went for the Speck Hard Candy iPhone 4 case... when I need to use hands free and TomTom I will just have to remove the case :(
 
Eish im happy with just a bumper on my phone..
If it falls = It breaks = Insurance must replace.. Thats it lol :P

- R20 Courier Took 7 Darn Days :( lol..
- Rather Pay R56 For Overnight Courier

Overall Its A Good Deal And Very Much Worth It..

Hey man, great news! thanks for the feedback!

I posted it on Sat and unfortunately they only process it on working days, which was Monday. So it took about 4-5 days. But I agree, rather just go for overnight for the extra 30 bucks!

Waiting to see those images man ;)
 
Rather than changing the APN, call vodacom customer care and have them enable the iPhone APN on your contract, otherwise you'll always have issues when there's carrier settings upgrades or if you restore

For ipnone.vodacom.za to work, you need to contact your service provider (Nashua in my instance).

For some reason vodacom has seperate apn for iphone, don't know why??

Do you know what the diffs is between the internet vs iphone APN?
