That's not necessary. It is available for purchase through the SA iTunes store at $0.99. Well worth it!
 
hey guys
i just received my iPhone4 a few weeks ago and dont want to go through all 637 pages of info
I'd like to know what good games/apps you guys would recommend
i have a few already:
Doodle Jump
Angry Birds
Fragger
Cut The Rope
Skype
Facebook (dont know about the HD one, is it worth it??)

Any further recommendations on what to get as well as how i can maximize my battery please
oh, btw i am on 4.2.1 and got my iPhone 16GB through MTN

Those are about the best games for the phone, the facebookHD is terrible imo, I way prefer the standard free version.
Plants vs zombies is an absolute winner game.

4.2.1 Jailbreak is Out! (Mac Only at the moment as usual ;))

Also, I have just tested this and it seems the Greenp0ison "Loader" app times out when trying to get the Cydia source, so you can't download Cydia yet with this method.

Use Redsn0w with install Cydia option only AFTER you have jailbroken with Greenp0ison (above)

So, for the TUTORIAL:
1) Jailbreak with Greenpoison for untethered jailbreak
2) Run RedSn0w to install Cydia (use the "Install Cydia" option ONLY)
3) Done!

Tested and working on my iPhone 4.

WARNING 2: (for UNLOCKERS!)
If you need to Unlock your phone (i.e. it was not unlocked from the factory), then DO NOT UPDATE NORMALLY!. You will lose your unlock as the baseband is updated. Run TinyUmbrella to preserve your old baseband, and then upgrade and jailbreak using above tutorial. Similar steps as this tutorial I would imagine.

Performance yes. Seems much more stable and quite a bit nippier. The queuing option is much improved and doesn't crash when you queue up more than one or two items like it used to before.

Cosmetic - minor differences that most probably wouldn't even notice.

A lot fast when first opening cydia and in general, meaning you can get to updates and search a lot quicker. The loading symbol is now tiny and doesn't take up half the screen and a few other tweaks. The loading option is a huge upgrade as it was really starting to annoy me.
