I decided to create a PSL thread, after all it is our local league. The thread title pretty much says it all, this is a thread to discuss all things PSL.

hmmmm.... nice thread but i predict a mass of insults to hit this thread on how 'poor and *****ty the league is bla bla bla'.

Anyways - cant believe Pirates and Chiefs drew last night again! well supersport got held aswell so no new ground was made or last. Sundowns seem to the be only teem that gained any position last night.Why the @#$@# do we need Benni McCarthy if Katlego Mphela can mantain consistent form like that.... McCarthy is fat.fact.

Best games this wkend will be Golden Arrows vs Sundowns & Pirates vs Celtic. those should be intense :)

Sadly that may be true, hopefully people like that just don't post here, we only want disscussions and constructive critism.

Should both be greta games, and they are both televised. :)

Also, lol at the swearing filter for not allow the name Royal B a f o k e n g Stadium. :o
 
I hate SSU and sundowns.
Ajax,bloem and pirates ftw!
Pirates celtic game should be a cracker.

no ways you can hate on SSU? they are solid from defence all the way to attack. they took Pirates back to church with 10 men...... they do the basics oh so well :cool:

Im a closet Chiefs fan but its difficult to support them :rolleyes:
 
I hate em because they are too good :D
Need pirates,chiefs,ajax and sundowns to improve to make the league more competitive

I think the league is too competitive. I mean 2 wins in a row for a team in the bottom half and bam they are suddenly number 2 or 3 on the log standing. Supersport are good but the chasing pack is not that far behind.. 2 points difference means one loss and they will be overtaken.


BTW, thanks to the OP...we needed a thread to discuss Superdiski

I've been a Chiefs fan since i saw the sun, but for the past 3 years or so, I've been supporting SSU. I'll be getting their gear soon. Since they have about 25 supporters in the stadium, I will be their no. 1 supporter in no time and get those free trips to thier matches all over the country.

SSU ftw.
 
I've been wating a long time for this! I wish Bay were in the PSL otherwise my team would probably be Platinum Stars or Ajax

Sox, I hope you will be supporting Siwelele otherwise don't bother...Pirates team has lost their bearings and soon will be fighting it out with Cosmos at root of the table...:D
 
How's that Simphiwe gem of a free kick for a last gasp equaliser against Aces last night?
Tshabalala can be the most annoying player on the pitch constantly losing the ball not chasing, but when he decides to apply himself he can be good.

Good idea with the thread crazy dude.

WTF is going on with Pie-rats :p
Ok well Teko Modise is burnt out! simple as that.
Benson Mhlongo had that horrific lee dislocation (il upload the clip later :eek:) and the strikeforce is just lacking. Mbuyane ,Fanteni and Mthembu are just not Pirates class.... im surprised they got off to such a good start.

Mthembu must be licking his balls for signing 2 contracts (Chips & Pie-Rats). I'm sure he would feature a lot at Chiefs as opposed to Pirates. Modise needs a break, but unfortunately the WC is here, he can't rest enough.

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Benedict Vilakazi. I believe he can still feature for BB, if he gets game time at Sundowns.
 
Nice to see that there are people on this forum hat care about the PSL. It would be great if more people were to support SA soccer.

I kind of like Benedict Vilakazi for his application. That man is not one of the most talented but man he works very hard.
However, at Sundowns Papi Zothwane is prefered over Vilakazi. With all due respect, Papi Zothwane has now become a bit lazy...every now and then he comes out with brilliant touches and makes those killer passes but I wish he could apply himself more. I have no doubt that he is one of the best attacking midfielders in SA but somehow needs to rediscover his enthusiasm for football. I even rate him with the likes of Doc Khumalo and Shoes Moshoeu.

Dude, even though I like EPL, Serie A and LaLiga, I just don't feel the same passion I feel about watching games between Chiefs/ Sundows / Pirates.

Also watching Golden Arrows on their day makes you proud to be South African. I have goose pimples just thinking about the prospect of Sundowns (my team, btw) facing them on Saturday. I watched them demolish Ajax CT the other day and I thought to myself why aren't any of these boys selected for Bafana?
