Considered abandonware and you can't buy it anywhere the last time I checked. It is fairly high on the GoG request to remaster list right next to the old Mechwarrior games but both game franchises got buried for some reasons.

Ok perhaps im misunderstanding the point of this thread. Great game but premium? How does abandonware fall into that category? No biggie I guess.

Its a wierd question. I mean, my kids were dying to play Minecraft Story Mode which was a telltale that ran for 2 seasons ( S1 e1-8, S2 e1 - 3 ) with S1 eps 1 to 5 being made a netflix interactive. No digital store sells it as the company went bust and you cannot get it anywhere unless you maybe lucky enough to find a physical copy.

I think in this day and age, might be worth having a abandonware thread as it seems to be becoming a "popular" thing now with publishers. But yeah, not what this threads intent is.

There's actually no such thing as abandonware. Copyright stays in effect unless a publisher releases it into the public domain. Not that I have a problem with it personally but I prefer keeping this thread for official giveaways otherwise where do we draw the line?

As long as it's not abused it's nice to keep it here, this is the one thread i get notifications for so I don't miss anything. But yeah, a seperate oldy game thread would work too,.

Contract JACK I threw away after 1 playthrough when it came out. Terrible game.
