There was a cheat code to make research faster. After I clocked it without the cheat code, it became funny to obliterate opponents I had struggled with!

It was already in my library, so did not actually try add it so cannot confirm if there are issues with the link or not.

Seems to happen randomly, did for me as well, just wait 10/15 minutes and try again (as I see you did).
