Panyaza Lesufi elected Gauteng premier after defeating DA candidate Solly Msimanga
Gauteng has a new premier in former MEC for education Panyaza Lesufi who was elected during a special sitting of the legislature on Thursday.
Lesufi defeated DA candidate Solly Msimanga by 16 votes. He received 38 of the 60 votes that were cast while Msimanga got 22.
There were 13 members that did not vote.
His election comes as a result of the resignation of former premier David Makhura who has been at the helm of the province since 2014.

It's the EFF, they probably couldn't tell you why they abstained. And their move is about as useful as the DA nominating Msimang. It's not as if anyone wants the sex in the office man as premier of anything.

That's a different chap you are thinking about, I forgot his name. But apparently Solly also has a tendency of putting his hands where they don't belong if his accuser is to be believed.

The whataboutism going on in this tweet is shocking. If your best defense is "but the DA..." it really just shows the mental capacity of some of the ANC voters, that or the amount of brainwashing.

ANC could walk into their homes, steal the food from their plates, shoot one one their way out, and they would still think ANC good.

LOL, okay so he's not the one who was discussing "work" in that voice recording?

Edit: Solly is the one who was recorded having sex with a woman in his office. Unless there are two Sollies with the same name.
