The Shroom Thread

Eish, multiple shrooms per day?!
Not in the mood for the taste, lekker 1g smoothie. Woah this is super visual. Hey it's holidays think I'll take another gram. Whizzzz. Gulp. About 4g later taste was arbitrary and mushy slush was fine. Ended up at the forest. Good day.

(First time in ages I've done multiple doses like that - usually decide on a dose and do it all at once)

Ja it can be a very difficult experience, especially that first hour if you're resisting what it's revealing. Something I also love about the experience is there's these constant little popups of positivity - like things I'd like to do for myself or for/with other people, and then you leave the experience with this bag of actionable things you can do in the coming weeks. Also why I prefer doing it alone.

Shrooms are such an intense experience for me that I duno how you manage that.
Also after the last round, I've basically given up everything (alcohol etc).

The intensity thing I prefer daylight trips (first dose around 13:00) and I enjoy moving around with shrooms - whether it's playing some music or doing some light mobility / yoga sort of stuff or going for walks, especially in the forest it feels like movement becomes so fluid and natural. That might help to dissipate the intensity somewhat vs. being locked to a couch in a dark room. I also don't do any cannabis - prefer the clean shroom experience.

This something you decided to do during the trip or it just sort of naturally happened afterwards?

Bit of both really.
The trip gives me clarity on things I'm avoiding and want (and during the trip it seems that alcohol is holding me back).

Last time was sitting next to a river with the reed bushes melting and breathing and the later the campfire being looking like this:?

Any case I have a love/hate relationship with any substance.
I have 2 daughters to raise and have seen enough suffering and substance abuse to want to not expose them to that via myself.
On the other hand mushrooms are interesting.

Watch the opening scene. :)
Watched the first half last night. Very good.

The intro was intriguing, and a great way to entice non-gamers into the whole story of The Last of Us. I wonder why they used psychedelics/LSD/shrooms as the centrepiece? Can't help but wonder if there is intention behind it, and a hand guiding us into the next phase of social experimentation. Considering the legalisation of shrooms in a/some U.S. states, is the general public being conditioned into accepting old taboos of psychedelics being legalised more, and used therapeutically, in psychiatry, etc.? Add all the recent drug documentaries on Netflix, etc.

Have not watched it as saving a few episodes to watch in a batch but pretty sure when i played the game the zombies infection is based off spores and growths like mushrooms hence probably the centrepiece.

Yes, but why specifically focus on ergot and psilocybin?

Hi Everyone, is King Kushie still operational? Looking to by some shrooms but don't know of any other suppliers. If you know someone reliable please pm me?

Hi everyone. Anyone here still ordering from DrGreenFingers? I'm interested in getting their MicroCaps.

any recommendations of good snacks on the way down? my go to was mixed roasted nuts, woolworths fresh fruit salad mix things and some crackers and cheeses. Lindt chocolate (shout out to mango & almond) to wrap things off.

I have tried smoked trout (smell haunts me), salami/hams/biltong and biscuits (tastes like gravel) but was not good even though i like them normally.

Anything stood out for you that i should try?

A good hearty vegetable soup with home baked bread has always been my go to after a high dose ceremony. Often given fruit and chocolate for during trip, but don’t touch them. Just regular water.
