The Tata Bolt Thread (Tata Lovers)

However, my concern did arise when my test session was coming to an end. I had started to hear some strange noises and kinks and niggles that wasn't there when I had received the car.[/url]

Had to do a customer visit there by Lanseria. It is a terrible dirt road for about 2km. After that, I started hearing a irritating rattle/squeek. Was driving me crazy. Was coming from passenger side, but could not figure it out as it was obviously only happening when I was driving. My back pack then got stuck (hooked on something) so I pulled the front passenger seat forward to get it out and then clicked it back into place. The noise was gone after that. Problem solved. There has not been other rattles or squeecks that has developed since then.

In cape town and rented this ...And you snapped me what are the chances

Yes that rear thing didn't put it down. Usually those back boards are attached to the rear hatch

ROFL! What the are the chances! :crylaugh:

What did you think of the rental btw?

Ja....the fact that you have to manually lift and lower the cover is a bit of a irritation. :( I have had to stop a few times to lower it after getting the car cause I kept forgetting to put it down. You get used to though and now I never forget anymore.

Pleasantly surprised tbh

Feels solid. The features are great. Connected to my iPhone navigation and tunes are sorted

Edit: Tata were notoriously bad. But this little car ain't bad at all. Rides solidly. Looks good. Has some great features. Steering wheel controls on a car in this category is amazing. I like it

Datsun name is much more well known, than tata.

You have a point.....BUT, Datsun vanished for how many years out of the country. It is not really a brand well known by the young people. It is going to be more the older generation that really has a brand association with it, and then it is going to be mostly farmers that had Datsun bakkies back in the day.

Young lady here at work was going to go to the shops quick and asked me if I want anything. I needed to get smokes so I said we can take my car and go quickly. She got in and was like "Is this a Tata for real??? It is so nice in side. When I switced the car on the infotainment came on and it was loud from when I was driving to work this morning and she was like OMG that sound is amazing! She cant believe it is a Tata hehehe. She drives a little Toyota Ayego I think its called.

Is she cute? Single?

She is cute actually .... but she is married.....to a guy that is really really hot. Her dad owns the office building and IT company in it, and her husband comes here to service the air cons. He owns a air con company. He was up on a ladder to get to the unit that is built into the roof .... and well....I was acting like a perv and looking up very frequently .... and not at the aircon unit lol.

2017 Kinsey Report - Spares Basket Results

City and entry level

Often, it’s a single part which skews a car’s ranking in the survey.

The Tata Bolt, which Kinsey included in the survey for the first time, had the second cheapest repair part costs in this category and the third cheapest service parts, but the R24 000 price tag for its massive rear fender makes it the second most expensive for parts prices overall.

How massive is it really?
