The Tattoo Thread

And now sunblock becomes your friend when its healed so that the colour stays nice and fresh.

I was joking with somebody the other day that I wish I'd started on my sleeve earlier, so that I was as religious with sunblock earlier in my life :p

So we flipped thru Uekawa's art book over breakfast...
Next up:
* Amy Rose
* Knuckles
* Cream and Cheese
Fillers:
* Rings
* Red star rings
* Green Hill Zone background
And a complete sleeve will result

That's going to look amazing! I long avoided ink I couldn't hide easily and without overheating, due to being worried about the work place and the potential limitations of wanting to find new employment at some time in my future. Then I thought, f it. If somebody cannot see past that, to the skills I offer, I don't want to work with, or for them. And now I'm already formulating second sleeve in my head :D

Can we see your sleeve? Or show me where in this thread you posted.

Yeah the power of hindsight is 20/20 vision. I wish I started earlier, BUT since I hate being in the sun, the only issue is a lot of freckles from that bad sunburn about 18 months ago

Yup, we are well versed on that program.
My wife loves eclectic hairstyles... at one interview they dropped a comment about her hair that wasn't cool.
She said "I think this interview is over, I will find my own way out. Cheers!"

I can concur I feel the same way.
I am really happy with my artist, and the studio, and I said I will be back, they even chimed in with the idea for rings and red star rings before I could say.
This whole experienced changed the way I look at life, how I see myself, and what things mean to me.

I think the worst was some of the colour as it took a few times going over and after a while it gets tender.

Single needle is all good.Fans gets me a bit.
I find single needles more painful, might just be in my head but I feel like the more surface area covered the less concentrated the pain is, also gets more painful the more the area is worked on :D like first few passes are not so bad but when you're already swollen bloody and tired then any small "touchups" seem to be more painful, but I guess it's all dependant
