Odd, I used to be able to log onto the IS portal and when I tried SAIX the other day I could log on there as well. My account is on the IS backbone. I would try the IS portal again, but it's now blocked for me.

meh, might get flamed here, but I had nothing but good service and a good experience with them... when I was with them. Must be one of the few.

Whats the rate for buying integrity going for these days?




I'm just kidding man. I'm glad you haven't experienced all the bad things. No client deserved to experience it. Listening to clients of me lately they are starting to experience odd and unfaithful gestures from openweb lately, clients whom in the past was happy.

So for your sake I hope you get continued good service, but my personal opinion is to perhaps venture on to a new more ethical and client's interest abiding ISP.
 
If someone was theoretically thinking of leaving openweb (simply because support has not replied to me for a week) Should i go with afrihost or webafrica ? I want something I can download on steam with and be a happy gamer without hitting the 1 star rating and messing up my families browsing, I read in webafricas policies that after 6pm large downloads like steam games and stuff are not put towards your star rating, can anyone help me out here. been experiencing so much OW pain since the start of this month.
 
Web Africa Business Uncapped seems like the way to go for now, until Crystal Web launches at the end of the month maybe

I said it felt like my account was getting shared.

My friend on silver uncapped would be watching youtube 720 no buffering and I on a gold account would not be able to watch 360p without buffering.

I called them on out on their crap and I was flamed by forum members and openweb just blamed telkom. I sticked with them waaaaaaaay too long.

edit:

let me just explain above, I yesterday had slow speeds on my afrihost in 2 hours I was watching 720p no buffering! No account changes, no blaming telkom just we fixed your account have fun!

I am on TI, and also cannot connect to the page, seems that http://userstats.adsl.saix.net/ is actually down. Havn't been able to connect for 2 days now. Even if you go through www.saix.net then choose ADSL User stats from the support menu it also doesn't connect. So not 100% sure its an OW issue, but could be wrong.
 
Ouch, OW also pulling from their Official support method now. LOL

Sorry to hear man. Your best bet would be afrihost/axxess business uncapped. If they is too pricey, i would suggest you hang on for Crystal Webs launch as their policies seems legit and their uncapped home prices are decent.

Glad to see I'm not the only, at least there are 3 of us. Anyhow, people can say what they want about OW, me, no problems, smooth sailing, uncapped unshaped for the win. Nothing that we'll say will convince any of the "shared account" people. So I guess we just continue like normal ;)

We dont want the "shared account" people getting confused and thinking OW stopped screwing everyone. :p:D
